Last days

Again I'm writting but this time it will be the last time! Tommorow I'm leaving South Africa!
Thuesday:
That we day we did social services again. this time me and my group went to the elderly home care. Me and bregje went with Salome (one of the nurses) to 6 houses. Bregje and I took the bloodpresures and Salome did the other things like medicines. All the elderly people were really nice and asked us questions like why are we here and what will you be doing? to showed their interest. One woman told her life story! It was a nice expierence. In the afternoon we had frre time and we spend it on just relaxing. the evening was really nice! we had the South-African braai! (A BBQ) It was nice to have everyone over but it was a bit chaotic because I had to arrange everything for Eveliens birthday which was the next day!
Wednesday:
This a really chill day! we went to Cape Agulhas, the most Southern point of Africa!!!! We saw a line over the two oceans, A line which seperates the Atlantic ocean and the Indian ocean. I saw the difference in it. The atlanric ocean was lighter then the other. Finally we went to the beach and we swam in the atlantic ocean! it wasn't cold at all but I had to get used to the high waves! In the evening we went to a restaurant because of Evenlien's birthday! the people there were so nice and there was a parrot. The lady who owned the place told us somethings about him, like how he danced to some music!
Thursday:
Our last day before we leave! :( We gave a lesson at the primary school. We told them about the Netherlands. About how we live, our culture, our food and Holidays. They seemed to be enjoing everything and the end everything we played a game. Everyone was really excited and they had a lot of energy! WE took a groupphoto so we won't forget this experiences!! In the afternoon We have an essambly for us to say goodbye and we'll be doing a last activity with my buddy!!
Tommorow we will leave but first we will go to Waterfront!
I had a great Time here and I learned a lot from the people and the society here. It makes you think about how you live! Everyone her was so nice and they all showed their interest in your story! I felt pretty comfortable around here! Also the tourist type of thing we did had an impact on me! for example Rovbbenisland and District 6 Meda me realid\se who bad everyone was threated! I'm glad to hear from everyone that i meant something for them!! I will never forget this journey and I will make sure I will come back1

Sounds like you had a great time over there and of course 2 weeks aren't enough to do and see everything. So you will have to go back some other time.

Fantastische verhalen!! Ik kan niet wachten om alles te horen. Ik hoop dat je nog een fijne dag hebt en veel plezier kan maken.
Wie weet kom je er nog eens terug en alle dingen nog eens te beleven.
Nu maar hopen dat je het vliegtuig kan vinden voor de terugreis!!!

Ja die twee weken zijn zeker omgevlogen met zo'n druk en leuk programma.
Geniet nog even van die laatste twee dagen en dan zijn wij weer blij als je zaterdag weer thuis bent!!
